Story
I have set myself the challenge to run the world’s biggest and most popular marathon – the New York Marathon in November 2018!
As I train and work towards achieving my goal of completing the 42km marathon (for the first time), I am also raising funds for Flinders Foundation to support people affected by cancer.
As many of you will know, my Mum and Dad have both lived with Cancer. Unfortunately we lost Mum in 2009. Thankfully, Dad now has the all clear and is as fit as a fiddle.
Please back me on this incredible adventure to raise funds for Flinders Foundation to establish a Cancer Survivorship and Wellbeing Centre at the Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer, to better support patients and their families who are affected by cancer. This fundraising effort is very special to me.
I know first hand what a significant impact a centre like the one we are raising funds for can have on cancer survivors and their family.
