Story
This year I have been given the opportunity to run the New York Marathon - what an opportunity! How could I pass it up, especially when I thought that I would never be able to run again!
Unfortunately we all know someone who has had cancer, whether a family member or a friend. I could have run this marathon simply for my own personal challenge, but thought “why not do it for a good cause?”
If you would like to sponsor me in my quest to cover 42.2 kilometres in New York City, all money raised will go to the Flinders Foundation to assist in establishing their new Cancer Wellness Centre. This centre will provide support to patients and their families to deal with the range of effects and concerns being faced in their lives.
